The Zodiac Mysteries are amongst my favorite mystery series as they’re the right mix of coziness, suspense, and entertainment.
I’m very happy that Connie De Marco wrote a new instalment and it is the best one in the series so far.
I was glad to catch up with Julia and read about new development in her life. Julia is a clever, strong willed, and brave woman who never hesitates to fight for the underdogs.
This is a complex plot, there’s are different subplots and a part regarding Julia. It’s compelling, gripping, and it surprised me till the explosive end.
The solid plot is full of twists and I couldn’t guess them.
Ms. De Marco is a good storyteller and this novel kept me on the edge and hooked till the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed it, was moved at times, and loved the empathy of the authors toward the victims.
It’s an entertaining read but there’s also food for thought and this is one of the aspects that make me love this series.
An excellent read that I strongly recommend.
