I just need to get the spoilers out of the way first. SIMON FINALLY KNOWS LUCY IS HIS MOM!!! I almost shouted reading that part. I’m so happy he has Ruth and Jamie now for healthy supportive family members.

Boy do I love these characters. BOY do I love Agatha. The last page of this book actually made me tear up. Finishing this book gave me the same feeling in my chest as when I saw HTTYD 3, except I sobbed a lot more during that movie. There is a lot of character focus in this book and not a lot of answers to plot questions, which I am okay with because they are selfish 20 year olds dealing with their emotional baggage. Realistically why would you snitch on yourself to the Coven about all the shit you fucked up in America??? Simon is too busy being depressed and getting seduced into a cult.
Agatha, my beloved, she has been the character I related to in every book and she ended up exactly where I hope I’ll end up.
as a lesbian goat herder

Editing this because I forgot to add how in love with Shepard I am, he is such a highlight of this book. Shepard if you’re reading this call me.
