I'll be honest - the only reason I'm rating this 4 Stars is because of the other ongoing stories that are evolving in this series. Phury himself wasn't a character I was too interested in, in this book. I liked Cormia. But that part of the story just left me all meh. The other parts though, with JM, Qhuinn and Blay particularly, had me really invested, and after many stops and starts with this book, and deciding to persevere, I really did enjoy it from around halfway through. I'm really keen to keep reading this series, but I was disappointed and did struggle with this one, especially at the start.
