I am mad at myself for how long I put off reading Icebreker, because I absolutely loved it.

Let’s talk about the spice for a moment. The car scene? *chefs kiss* The kitchen scene? The Halloween scene? I can keep going all day. Pure perfection! Icebreaker was spicier then I expected it to be. Don’t let that sweet innocent cover fool you!

I loved that Icebreaker is told in both Stassie’s and Nate’s POV. I think it added the depth that this story needed. Both characters had their own issues that they worked on throughout the story both together and separately.

I especially liked that Stassie was open and honest about going to therapy and that it was actually showed on page instead of being brushed upon like it usually does in most novels. I think it was important for both of these characters to realize that they aren’t perfect but if they work through their problems together, there was nothing they couldn’t take on.

I never saw as much red as I did then every time Aaron opened his stupid mouth. I despise his character, but I realize how important he was to the plot. He added enough conflict that it played perfectly into the story line.

Overall I adore Icebreaker and can’t wait to see what Russ’s story holds!
