“There’s a sorting hat. Like in Harry Potter. It wasn’t even placed on my head before it screamed, ‘Top!’ and then all the other tops welcomed me to their house.”

Overall reco: I started my walk into the Sadenverse because Egotistical Puckboys get so much hype and while I enjoyed Fake Boyfriends for it's more adult take (adults being adults) on like I was itching to get back into my favorite genre, MM Hockey. I generally do not like college level stories but MM Hockey tends to be an outlier.
Zack was so fucking adorable. I wanted to pull a Seth and bundle him up and protect him from everything. It's obtuseness about people was cute and while it did feel a bit tropey when he didn't just magically lose it by the end it felt more real.
Foster was.. lovely. That sounds rather sarcastic and I do love Foster. I do. He's the perfect complement to Zack. Patient, curious, supportive without being over the top. His relationship with Seth felt sad, especially since I'm writing this review and I'm halfway through Seth's book. Foster is a great communicator, just not with his brother.
Overall, Highly enjoyable and the other books in the series I've been devouring.
