Wonderful friends to lovers small town romance

This is a beautifully written book about two high school friends who reconnect 4 years later.
Gabe, a math teacher, is an awkward, sweet, goofy nerd with a dash of snark. Clark is the oblivious jock turned miner who has a heart of gold and will give his all for his family. He has numerous siblings who provide some light hearted moments and some drama.
Both characters are so enjoyable and engaging. Their connection to each other is beyond doubt but it takes a while for Clark to open his eyes to see what’s right in front of him. When he does the heat level increases accordingly!
I curled up with this book on a rainy, dreary day and it lifted my spirits with its feel good vibe. I loved every moment of it and binged read it in one sitting.
If you enjoy easy to read, small town, feel good, low angst romance then this book is for you. Highly recommended.
