I won't say that I had high hopes for this since I knew next to nothing about it going in, but I had heard such rave reviews that I thought it would be better than the 2.5 stars I gave it. Mostly this was just a giant disappointment for me. I did like Naledi and I thought Thabiso got better as the story went along but this book just felt too long and too short all at the same time. I skipped most of the last 30-40% and the ending was so rushed it was ridiculous. I can definitely see why so many others loved this but it wasn't the book for me.
