This is just the creep, crawly, make you cringe type of books that I know boys in my library (and some girls too) will love. It is about animal defense mechanisms, and I love that they use animals that are not normally talked about in these books. Instead of hearing about the Poison Dart Frog, they have a hook toed frog that could scratch your eyes out, or a slime eel that will make you feel like you were in Ghostbusters movies.
