This was a blast! Who doesn't love reading medical weirdness in a fun way?

I found this book because I enjoy Kang's fictional works, and I decided, aw heck, why not give this a go? Boy, I'm glad I did!

What might you expect from this book? Think Caitlin Doughty, but more light, and a lot more specific than Mary Roach. Or, The Sawbones podcast crammed into a book (that isn't the Sawbones book).

All in all, if you enjoy medical history or just wanna spout weird facts at Christmas dinner ("Did you know yee olde doctors would shove leeches up butts to resolve prostate issues?"), then I say give this one a go, sit back, and laugh at the dumb stuff we used to do to try and fix our medical issues.
