It was so sweet to be back in Magnolia Falls  with the RoD crew 🥰 Found family is one of my favorite tropes and Laura has created something special with the characters in this series. I’m already so attached to them and this is only book two, I’m figuring I’ll be a blubbering mess by the time the series comes to an end. Anyway, this book is about River and Ruby and I fell in love with both of them so hard. Ruby is such a fierce and badass character who has her guard way up, and for good reason. She doesn’t trust easily and she really makes River work for it. He dishes it out just as well as she does so it made for some hilarious banter and interactions between them. River loves getting a rise out of Ruby and my husband is the same way so I can totally relate to her irritation. I’ll stop rambling on but I adored this one, if you like small town spicy books Laura is a must read author!
