Tender is the Flesh is at least interesting- I’ll give it that. However, it reads as though it was written purely for shock value while simultaneously trying its best to say something. I just don’t think it said much! 

It also wasn’t nearly as gruesome as I thought it was going to be! I had really expected it to be hard to read, but I flew through it and didn’t find it all that difficult- which may entice some to finally pick it up. 

Some parts of this book had too much information given and others not enough. Overall- it was fine and still worth reading as its fairly short.
