I've read Reconstructing Amelia by the same author years ago and really liked it so I was looking forward to reading this thriller.  Unfortunately, Like Mother, Like Daughter was a miss for me.  I felt like there were almost too many red herrings in it so that when the truth was finally revealed, it didn't have the shock factor it should have because there wasn't enough to tie it to the story.
