2.5 stars for me. Compared to other thrillers I've read, it seemed like the plot was lacking with this one. The bland writing made it a struggle to get through sometimes. Something that was difficult for me to get past was that the author revealed the ending within the first few pages. Even though readers knew the ending so early on, I felt like there were still details left out and more could have been explored.
