Sinners' Playground
by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham
Wow. This book was a trip from the beginning to the cliffhanger! Caroline and Susanne have this amazing ability to draw readers into a story, then leave them on a killer cliffhanger. I’d be more mad, but I’m too big of a fan!
Rogue has had a tough go of it. The book starts with her in a grave. Literally. Then she drinks a milkshake, adopts a dog, catches up with old friends, makes some new ones, and manages to get herself into trouble. I love this girl!
Those Harlequin boys are something else. Fox the daddy’s boy, JJ the sex machine, and Chase the butt-munch. I went back and forth between loving and hating them. I’m sure that will continue through the rest of the series.
I’m diving into book 2. Wish me luck!
