Oh look a solid Supergirl story! Yay!

After reading too many awful Orlando comics I decided to just skip his run. From reviews on here and in general, that seems like a good idea. But I was pretty excited to try this Supergirl run since it's By Marc Andreyko, and his Manhunter I'm reading now is great. So Kara just helped Superman take down one of their biggest threats. Now she's on a mission to find out what happened to her people on a space adventure.

I really enjoyed Kara here. She's still gets pissed quick. But that's because at her age it makes sense. i also love Krypto and Kara. So glad we got a doggie on our adventure. I also like this feels like an adventure through space instead of another boring story for Supergirl to fight another female/over the top male villain. The story itself though isn't amazing. Pretty predictable on the big bad, and we already know Supergirl will save almost everyone so the cliffhanger kind of just there.

Saying that, it's not amazing, but it's good old space fun. Kara is a good lead and I'm hoping this series continues to improve.
