Two Jane Doe's are found outside San Diego near the Mexican border. They are suspected of being girls that have been trafficked. So the local police department bring in Vega. Vega is a no-nonsense woman who works outside the law to get results. She is fierce and determined and won't stop until she finds this particular trafficking ring to shut it down and rescue the girls. Vega knows she needs to bring in Cap to help her. They worked really well together before and built a really good rapport and relationship.
Vega makes me laugh at some of the things she does. Cap is a really good anchor for her but sometimes he doesn't even know what she is going to do.
There's also real, good sexual tension between them both that I love!
