Lover Awakened
by J.R. Ward
Something that can be read while you are sick with something that makes it hard to concentrate on. This is the second? time I've read it, though I do have to admit that I do not remember the ending, although I do remember some of the earlier parts of the book. It was something that held my attention despite my cold and fever that was constantly going up and down. I couldn't hardly concentrate on one page, yet somehow, it seemed to take my attention off of my misery and focus it on something else. I do enjoy the way that the author writes, she certainly has a good way of developing her characters and the overarching storylines that cross the various books. I have been skipping around in the series as I have read it, and I have to say, what I have read in this book certainly explained what I was confused about in later books. My advice, actually follow the series in order. That is actually something that is somewhat new to me, I mean, when the books are more like companion novels focusing on a different person within a group instead of the same person.
