I voluntarily received this book in exchange for an honest review. 

Afterlove is a pretty quick paranormal romance with some thriller/mystery elements thrown in. I devoured the whole thing in a couple of hours. 
I found myself becoming completely invested in the storyline and I needed to figure out what was happening and why. I’d thought I had it all figured out part way through, but alas I was wrong. 

Overall I enjoyed the plot, but the ending felt rushed and bit anticlimactic for me. 

I definitely would have read an additional book about these characters.
