The hype did not live up to it for me 👎🏻
This was ok, I listened to the audiobook so that might have been the problem, though the audiobook narrator was perfectly good.
I just found I got a bit bored at points and it felt like the story wasn’t going anywhere, almost like I was stuck in the cave system myself haha.. It Is also quite a depressing book I found at points. I didn’t find it particularly scary either.
I think I maybe just don’t get on with the authors writing style sadly as I didn’t love her other book either really..
