Oops, I just noticed I took a kind of a big break from my DT project. That's okay, I still remember everything that's happened, but this just reminds me why I'm not a series person. While I'm reading The Talisman (only the sequel is connected to DT, but I don't want to get into it before the first part), let's continue with four books I haven't written anything about yet.

Now, The Wind Through the Keyhole was written eight years after the series ended. While I criticized Wizard and Glass for its length, this is a nice short diversion into Roland's past without bogging down the whole series.

But, since Wizard and Glass already exists, I question whether Keyhole is actually necessary. I like the structure of a story within a story, but there doesn't seem to be anything of importance or new information. If I didn't do the extended version of the series, I would have been pissed if instead of Salem's Lot I would have had to read this right after Wizard and Glass. Worth to check out, not worth the extra attention.
