Death by Bubble Tea

When Berkley granted me the access to this ARC I discovered an excellent cozy author and fell in love with a new cozy series.
It's a series I read quite fast as I was enjoying what I read and wanted to know what was coming next.
Yale Lee and Celine are two interesting characters: Yale Lee is a sort of luddite, Celine hyper-tech and always connected. They form an unlikely duo but somehow it works.
I like reading about their relationship and their different personality.
It was a good introduction and I appreciated what I learned about culture and food.
The mystery is a bit slow as it takes ages before it starts and drags at times. I enjoyed it and it kept me guessing.
It's a good start and will surely read other books in this series
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine
