This is centered around Avery’s 2nd annual grandest game and in my opinion that’s probably the crux of the issue with this story. The game being the main plot of the story, made it feel dragged out and deprived of the heart & soul that the characters in this series usually bring. 

However, I enjoyed myself and I’m in too deep so I will probably read the next to come in the series.
