Stardust
by Neil Gaiman
“Go and catch a falling star...”
In the shape of a fairytale, Neil Gaiman writes a really interesting and intriguing story. All the characters of the classical bedtime stories are in: starry nights and shooting stars; a young and stubborn boy who falls in love with a beautiful and selfish girl; a wicked witch; a little magical helper; prophecies; evil knights and a faraway kingdom to rule.
Characters are described in details, even though Neil Gaiman defines some more than others.
For a lover of the genre as I am, this book is simply stunning.
The writing is smooth, and it’s really enjoyable to read.
