Tropes
- Single Career Woman vs Mommy with a Career trope
- What if
This is a Chrismas Carol retell with a career woman who suffers a fall and experiences her what if where she gets to choose the mommy path. I picked this without reading the blurb and I was able to identify the retell immediately.I did not like Caroline, much like you don't really like the original Scrooge. The emphasis on motherhood was a little too repetitive with how many times breastfeeding a baby or milk leaking was mentioned (I felt it left no room for formula feeding). I felt it put too much importance to how a childless career woman is miserable vs a mom with kids is happier. I am not in the frame of mind to accept this concept, because childless career women are just as happy as moms. One is not the enemy of the other. MMC used a cute nickname for MFC.

Spice
Rather vanilla, just talk of breast milk interrupting the spice time that some may find uncomfortable.
