I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this book, although it was not what I was expecting going into it. It was more of a memoir and had some self help tidbits, which are both elements I don't usually like, but Mosley executed both very well. Her humor was on point and listening to her narrate the book definitely added to it. I did not love her chapter on body image and how she characterized the use of Ozempic for weight loss, but I did appreciate that she acknowledged her shortcomings on the topic and while I think it could have been a little deeper and more reflective, her self awareness was evident.
Graphic: Domestic abuse
Moderate: Body shaming, Fatphobia, Toxic relationship
Minor: Eating disorder, Toxic friendship
