This follows about 6 months after Days at the Morisaki Bookshop ends. We see more development between Takako and Wada but more than that we see her relationship with her uncle and aunt and the progression of grief. Mourning when someone is still alive is hard and mourning when they’re finally dead is harder. The last two chapters honestly had me so close to tears. It was so well written
