<i>Twisted Pride </i> was a romance book that tried to be twisted... but it was just plain wrong. Yeah, it was obvious that Remo had some issues; he wasn't exactly a masochistic but it was close with some of the stuff he did. I do not like insta-love and that's almost what happened to Remo and Serafina from the very beginning. There was no serious tension from the very beginning because it was obvious that they were going to be together. I wanted to see Remo hate her more, or Serafina resist more. Serafina thinking she could outsmart Remo was 'eh,' I wasn't pleased with her thought processes on that one. The ending was nice but overall it was just average.
