'When I make a piece of jewellery, I think about the person who might wear or use it. I don't see their face or anything like that; it's more that I feel a connection with the unknown person who will own it. So when I'm working on a piece of sea glass and think about it passing through my hands on a long, long journey in time and space to the person it's meant to be with, well, that just makes me feel super-happy.'
