I’m not entirely in love but I did enjoy the journey. There’s a lot that just wasn’t done well and kinda conflicted a lot of times. What I didn’t like was the many “for shock” moments that happened so often that it became annoying to me. They stuck out like sore thumbs with the very inconsistent pacing throughout the whole series. The villains in the series weren’t used to their full potential. A lot in this series made me feel wanting more and left me with more questions than answers or went in directions that didn’t make sense.

What I loved about this was the characters and the idea of the story. The story had so much promise and there were times I just didn’t care about anything at all and just enjoyed myself because of these characters. I have enjoyed this series as I have said I just don’t love it. Having loved Aya Shouto’s Kiss of the Rose Princess, I’ve been a fan of her art for a long time. This series has beautiful art, I enjoyed it, but I wish I loved it.
