I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this book and chose to review it.

I wanted to like this book. It had everything I love; enemies to lovers, secret societies, sports, but it all the plot points were so rushed I just couldn’t.
The rate at which things happened didn’t allow for any real development, and although the relationship between Colton and Eloise played out how I like, I wanted more!! And the surrounding issues needed to be developed more in order to pack a much bigger and exciting punch. As it was, I was never really worried what would happen because it was resolved so quickly.
And as a side note, the hotel scene, not at all my cup of tea, and a little out of the blue. It was a great example of how if things were developed more, it would have fit, but unfortunately it didn’t.
