I love a story that has a strong character arc for the hero, ultimately redeeming him and this absolutely delivers that along with acute observations about toxic masculinity and more than a few insights into the publishing industry too. The fact that it was a Black British romance as well was the icing on the cake and I will be looking out for more from this author.
