» PLOT «
Blankets explores the relationships of Craig, as he deals with a sibling rivalry, a first love, and more while simultaneously exploring the boundaries of his faith.

This hit me harder than I thought it would, especially the ending.

I'm not a religious person, so I really didn't care for that portion of the story. But otherwise, this was a nice coming of age story.

» READABILITY «
Graphic novels are generally pretty easy to read, and this was no different.

» CHARACTERS «
Most of the side characters are not as developed as the main character, and with the jumps between the past and the future, we don't see a lot of depth.

» WRITING «
A bit of the language/terminology was a bit outdated, otherwise there wasn't much to it, especially since it is a graphic novel.

» OVERALL «
This book was better than other graphic novels I've read, but it wasn't amazing. Just pretty good.

Also, this book was THICC.
