I mean I liked this book, if you look past how much it kinda knocks-off other books. I couldn't believe how much seemed so similar to ACOTAR, Cruel Prince, The Selection, and Cinderella. The writing wasn't absolutely amazing either, but it was enjoyable for a YA fantasy. The plot was probably what kept me going because I just wanted to know what happened next.

I think this book would have been a lot better if the author took influence rather than making stuff so, so similar. Finn and Rhysand could have been carbon copies, especially the way the love triangle goes. I'm hoping that with the sequel, the author will carve their own path and really make it stand out from the rest. There's a huge cliffhanger at the end, so I definitely want to continue with the next one.
