Totally Folked
by Penny Reid
I'm honestly not sure how to review this book. I really just adored it so much. I've wondered and wanted Jackson James to get his HEA from probably the first time I met him. Even with his issues with the Winston brothers, there was just something about him that spoke to me. Maybe it was the kraken? lol. Reading his book though, I understood a lot of what he felt and why he made his decisions the way he did. But, even though I am and never have been and never will be considered a sex symbol like Rae, I also understood a lot of her issues and feelings as well.
While there was some drama in this, it actually didn't quite get to up to some of the angst in other books by Reid. And I'm totally okay with that, because I still loved it! And sometimes a little less angst is nice. I also was thrilled to get time with my favorite Winston brother, Cletus, because he totally lived up to what I love about him.
I also really liked how things with Charlotte worked out. I think that there are people in this world who can handle things the way she did, and even if it doesn't add drama, it makes things realistic and gives that idea to others I hope. Totally Folked totally won my folking love!
