Well this was a pleasant read. While all the other books in this series so far seemed to mostly be dealing with all the bad guys who were a part of this underground genetic make up altering ring, this book took a break from that story line. As I have said in my reviews of the previous books, I really enjoyed that story line, but I am glad that something new was brought to the table here. We got a deeper look in to who/what Quinn is, to meet a whole new class of bad guys, and last but not least, finally got to witness the ultimate showdown between Riley and Guatier. I look forward to seeing what comes next for Riley, because that girl can't seem to not get caught in the middle of an epic shit storm every time one arises!
