I forgot just how great Miles origins is.

One I love how young he is, not even in High School yet. He gets these powers and has to figure out if he wants to use them or stay hidden thanks to being scared what the public might thing. A couple of issues in he's witness to the death of Peter Parker which happened prior to this series but we see it in Miles point of view. Miles semi-blames himself for this and decides to become Spider-Man in his own way.

It's fun, quickly paced, Miles is a great lead, and Ganke is a great side-character. Miles parents are interesting as well as his uncle for being a shady character. The art is wonderful with some uplifting scenes of saving people as well as taking down crime.

Everything just works really well as a origin story but also just a uplifting superhero comic for a whole new generation. A 4.5 out of 5.
