I absolutely loved it. I did not disappoint. I love seeing all the characters from the previous books. Maven and Dallas are fantastic and I love June too.

But I do have a couple of critiques. Shawn was my favourite book boyfriend of a while in the last book but his character seemed different in this one, and I didn’t really like him. With the big 3rd act part he was very different and it seemed like he was made the bad guy just so Maven could do a speech and Dallas could be the hero. June was also written a bit too young for 4? That might just be me but she seemed more like a toddler than a preschooler. Finally, and this is an entirely my taste thing, the use of Daddy and good boy were a bit too frequent (and by that I mean they were used). Although the Daddy thing didn’t annoy me as much because he actually had a kid, it also felt weird that they were using it sexually while his kid calls him that.
