Honestly, it was just published fanfiction and it definitely read like terrible fanfiction. Jace is just a little bitch. I hated him and still do. You can read better stuff on AO3 for free. 

The whole incest thing threw me off a lot. I don't know why anyone would want to read romance about two siblings. Weird as hell. Also, there were a bunch a phrases that rubbed me the wrong way. Stuff life "mind-rape" "canoodle in my bedroom" "the apple tasted green" and "a voice like raw silk" were so dumb and I just didn't like it.
