Jessica Jones: Alias, Vol. 1 by Brian Michael Bendis
2.0

I know I am one of the few, but I just can not get into Jessica Jones. I find this graphic novel boring and slow. Our main characters is a drunk who laments the days of yesteryear. Weather it’s missing being an amazing superhero, or the comradery that comes with a group of superior power people like yourself, Jessica has taken a high dive off a short cliff. I find I don’t care about the character. I don’t mind the Jessica Jones show, but it too is massively slow. I am glad this book series is not the storyline of the show, because of its glacial pace, and mishandling of characters. Luke Cage is a playboy, swarming, pimp wannabe that Jessica can’t get enough of, and her best friend is non-existent through faults of her own. I just can not bring myself to read any more of this series. Sorry Marvel, better luck next time.
