I ended up listening to the second book. I don't recommend this book for those that are going through the kinds of things she is. The disordered eating and the diet camp was a hard listen. I understand one would want structure in a day, but workring out for that many hours on end? For almost a month? Then ultimately never being satisfied. Then talks about an appetite suppressant...a lot to unpack there. So, even though it feels odd to rate, there it is.
Graphic: Eating disorder, Mental illness, Self harm, Suicidal thoughts
Moderate: Emotional abuse, Sexism
Minor: Domestic abuse
