If you're a lover of all things vampire, witches, and just overall paranormal (including some vampire romance *wiggles eyebrows*) then you MUST check out this series! Bev combines dark fantasy with a wonderful way with words! Seriously, I love the writing in these books, she creates the perfect haunting atmosphere that gets right under your skin...

Oh and these characters. I love them all!! There are several new ones introduced and honestly I need more information on this witch and her history! Every passage with her gave me shivers! I'm also in awe at how Bev switches between narrative voices so flawlessly; determined Olivia, sweet Teal, cool & collected Clove, angsty Moth, all are perfectly distinguishable and fleshed out.

I only took off one teeny tiny half star because it didn't scare me like the first one did (seriously wanted to sleep with the lights on when I started Gabriel) but otherwise it's a perfect sequel, exploring new aspects of this fantasy world and I can't wait for the third book!!
