The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
5.0
dark reflective tense medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven: A mix
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I am like, actually sick to my stomach from the last few chapters.
This was such an incredible book, and I feel like the true turning point was, obviously,
when Rue died. I think that was just such a pivotal moment in the book, and it’s when the horrific nature of the games really comes to light
(no shit, Sherlock).

My star rating might change, but I feel like any book that manages to disturb me so thoroughly that I develop a stomach ache deserves five golden stars.
