Shadows of Self
by Brandon Sanderson
Sanderson is just a man of pure genius.
Shadows of Self expanded the modern era of Mistborn even more. Plus an appearance of some old faces. I don't want to get too spoilerly but one of my favourite parts of initial trilogy comes back in a big way. I was pretty giddy about it!
Wax my poor baby I just want to hold him and tell him everything will be okay. He's gone through a lot. I love how Sanderson plays up Wax's backstory and how precious actions effect him recurrently.
Marasi! I just love you. You do you girl. After the rejection at the end of Alloy of Law you've come back and flourished. I can't wait to see where you go in this story.
There is still so much more to explore and we have two more books set in this era. I'm game to see where Brandon Sanderson takes me next.
