The Edge
by David Baldacci
medium-paced
Baldacci always does a great job with stories full of action and mystery. This is the 2nd book in the 6:20 man and can be read as a standalone.
I enjoyed the story of Devine investigating the death of Jenny and recovering her missing government laptop with top secrets. The small town in Maine was so perfect with the isolation and the town people taking care of each other and not welcoming an outsider like Devine.
There is a lot of red herring and subplots to the story. There was a lot of characters which got a bit overwhelming to keep straight.
There was even a little romance for Devine in this story.
Overall, an entertaining audiobook narrated by Zachary Webber primary and other narrators which made a great production.
