minervaxyz 's review for:
Franny and Zooey
by J.D. Salinger
felt like two completely different stories
Franny was relatable, thoughtful, accurate, even emotional
the character itself, Franny, was also a perfectly crafted and beautiful character
on the other hand, Zooey was such a pain in the ass. i very much would have dnfed the book, if it wasn’t because of the 5star quality of Franny
p.d.:im starting to notice that salingner creates amazing, human, accurate, lovable female characters (Phoebe, Jane, Franny,…: ma' girls💋)
fav reviews:
🧡joannaautumn's
🧡underneaththefigtree's
🧡zoebasson's
🧡so many others: honestly, i love when people pour essay-long reviews detailing their whole life story with a book, their expectations, thoughts after a reread a long time after, or how the book changed them. i find so much human value in those types of reviews……❤️🩹
