This book was so much fun.  The pirate Grislygrim is mean and nasty.  He is a peg leg pirate. One night a cabin kid sneaks in and replaces the peg leg with something else.  This happens a few times until the kids on the ship find just the “write” leg for this story.  This could be done for story time, as a puppet show, or even as a vocal story.  It works and the illustrations are a perfect match.
