I saw the movie before picking up the book. I loved the movie and the book differs quite a bit. Excellent read. Even though I knew the movie, this was one time where I could create a whole new vision of the character in my head. Great book. If you think you know it all from the movie, I recommend reading it. If you haven't seen the movie, read the book first. You don't need the movie to be entertained by this story.
