It became too cringey for me. The Harry Potter references were boring alongside the endless other brands and media references that feel lazy to be honest. The characters are in New York and the one that’s from the city chooses to go to a place in Timesquare? It just doesn’t seem like it makes logical sense. I didn’t get excited about the characters either that much. 

Imagine my shock though when one of the main characters Arthur is from basically my hometown and references Milton and Roswell Georgia a couple times. Didn’t know that was part of this book but maybe that played a role in why I put it on my TBR in the first place.
