There are many many things in this book I don’t really understand.  Such as the old saying.  Never heard of it.  But I liked this story anyway.  It seems like it’s about hats, but it’s really about being who you are and not to let a “hat” squash your personality.  On a side note, this is a great choice if your library does an edible book festival.
