Wasn’t sure I liked the idea of Melinda’s parentage, but hearing her mother tell their story to Dick gave it a certain amount of weight and authenticity I don’t think could have been achieved if we had heard it just from Melinda. Seeing Melinda’s mother and Dick reminisce about the past and the circus really endeared me to them as well, though that’s not a surprise. Tom Taylor KNOWS how to pull on someone’s heartstrings. Really fell in love with this issue and I’m excited to see where it goes!
